A Diet isn’t All About Losing Weight
Find Your Lifestyle Diet
On a previous occasion I heard the slogan, “your body is your temple”. This phrase has been ringing in my head recently since I am intensively researching individual lifestyles and eating habits. Fundamentally, my investigation is leading towards the Psychology behind eating. A diet is not about “one size fits all” so why would you try a diet that others suggest? See how to lose body fat.
Every human on earth is composed of two human beings, at least as far as I know. For me, I have received both the good and bad qualities from each my father and mother. These familiar traits are which makes every person to whom they are in society, not one person is the same. For years I have been attempting to compare myself to my biological sister, which never ends up victorious it seems. One of my traits that I have inherited is a slow metabolism from my mother’s side; it would be nice to report that I established my father’s rapid metabolism nevertheless that is regrettably not the case. My sister on the other hand has inherited my fathers’ metabolism, much to my chagrin.
For years I followed my sister about doing the identical activities that she did each day, as well as eating practices. She is one of those people that can consume just about anything without gaining a pound, lucky her! Unfortunately, after following my sister I learned some awful eating habits since I was trying to imitate her successful moderation in weight. I gained weight though. Visit i want to lose weight.
It is from this memory that I realized while browsing for health food practices that if I was going to lose weight and get healthy I was going to need to stop watching others and learn for myself what works. Following the latest trend of harmful food diets such as eliminating carbohydrates, eradicating sugars, or only eating cabbage soup for two weeks is not going to be a permanent fix. How many times have you heard someone go on a diet and a few weeks later hear that he/she was off the diet? The American concept of a weight lose plan diet never works, a lifestyle diet is what works permanently. It is not a quick fix however will stay permanent.
Although I feel as though the raw vegan lifestyle diet works for me, it may not work for everyone. Therefore, I have thoroughly thought through what works and what does not and here are some simple tools to help in the quest to individualize a lifestyle diet that works for you personally.
Spiritual Unfolding: Your body is your temple, treat it that way. Just image if someone came to your house for a nice dinner, would you expect to serve tonight’s dinner? For instance, if you regularly eat spaghetti for dinner, think to yourself if you would serve that to the President if he/she came to dinner? Treat your body with the nutrient-rich dinner that you would serve to house guests. You are special, treat yourself that way.
Assimilate one with the earth: This basically means that you need to think about natural foods, instead of chemical based foods for health purposes. This does not mean that everyone needs to turn raw vegan, rather turn to Mother Natures’ energy food. Let’s face it, eating is about energy, so why not take the freshest energy that is possible on the face of the earth. Great tips and to lose weight fast.
Harmonize with the earth and mankind: It is important that one chooses to harmonize with the principle of non-cruelty to animals, recycling, not wasting food, purchasing from free-trade companies and so on. Food production that is economically and earth friendly will provide healthier food to eat. For instance, I would prefer to eat organic free-trade chocolate instead of a name brand chocolate bar. It is important that my chocolate was not picked and produced in a country whose employees are underpaid and treated unfairly. The organic, free trade quality is not flawed; it is the same taste and fills the need for chocolate. You feel better about your purchase and are guaranteed that no one was treated cruel. In addition, this does not mean you have to become vegan, it just means that you should be educated on which farms practice non-cruelty to animals.
